This week we passed the 800 milestone with our petition. This was heavily boosted by our powerful performance at the EEK week debate on Monday evening, where we managed to convince almost everyone that divestment is an important step forward.
We hope to reach 1000 signatures before Christmas, and our recent calculations and identification of how much and where our university investments are, should help us to achieve this.
We're also continuing to run our lunchtime petition sessions, where we take Paul O'Bear (our mascot) out for a wander around the Students Union each week, chatting to people and asking them to sign our petition. If you'd like to help out, sign up here, and meet us in the main entrance to the SU at 12:30 on the day.
Keep an eye out for other Go Fossil Free actions around campus!
